The Montgomery Cliffs
The Montgomery Cliffs Simply titled “The Montgomery Cliffs”, the third album by this Long Island trio is a revelation. It jangles…it rocks…it pops…it’s got more hooks than Betty Page’s lingerie. You’ll need a crowbar to pry it from your CD player. It’s that good.
12 songs. 37 minutes. No hidden tracks. No padded extras. Just one of the best albums you’ll hear this year chockful of carbonated jangle pop, muscular power pop, and anthemic rock, with a side trip or two into Americana-land.
This is the one your ears have been waiting for.
Customer Review: The Cliffs third CD self titled “The Montgomery Cliffs”
“Power, Passion and Punch” that describes this powerhouse pop album! Right from the start “Ride” jumps right out of the speakers. A great hip shaking number. Hit after hit like; “Wednesday Girl” A catchy pop song that could be heard on any rock station. Then the memorzing beat of “Joking” with Dennis Carollo laying down the skins. Now lets beat our heads and knock down some walls with “Ambivalent” My favorite on this awesome CD is “B-Side”. Anyone who likes the Lemonheads will love this cut. Joey Salvia lays down one of the best bass lines there is in a pop/rock song! The Cliffs slow it down just a tad with “O.P.B” And after a few listens your figure out the title! This album is packed with such great catchy rocking pop songs! You won’t hit the skip button only the repeat. Lets hope the Cliffs keep rocking!!!!!!!!!!!!! …
